利用選擇性金鍍膜於纖核200μm光纖製作表面電漿共振感測器進行次氯酸鈉濃度量測研究

摘要


表面電漿共振原理(SPR)被廣泛的應用在化學及生物的特性和分子量級的交互作用測量上。傳統的表面電漿共振感測技術擁有高的靈敏度、動態變化的即時測量、以及在生物感測上無須標地等優點。光纖本身擁有體積小、成本低,並具有表面電漿共振檢測相同架構。本論文結合光纖與表面電漿共振感測器之優點,並選用纖核為200 μm的多膜光纖,在研磨表面進行選擇性鍍金,以利於提升光纖式表面電漿感測器之靈敏度。 實驗中我們介紹了一種在光纖感測器之檢測區段上做選擇性表面鍍金的方式,並利用白光光源進行光纖特性的量測,將訊號輸出至光譜儀上,再將光譜儀訊號到電腦上做數值分析。量測結果顯示,選擇性鍍金方法可以提升表面電漿共振訊號之靈敏度;使用選擇性鍍金之光纖感測器量測濃度從1%~6%之次氯酸鈉水溶液,結果證實使用纖核為200 μm來製作光纖感測器,相較於以往使用纖核為62.5 μm的一般多模光纖,在共振強度提升55.85%、光強度之提升達10.43%;而在選擇性鍍金的方法上,量測不同濃度之次氯酸鈉也有極佳的SPR波長位移及共振強度之線形變化。同時在實驗中也設計了幾組不同的選擇性鍍金方式,進行SPR靈敏度提升之研究。

The phenomenon of surface plasmon resonance (SPR) is widely applied in the biological and chemical sensing for characterizing and quantifying biomolecular interactions. The advantages of SPR detective method have high sensitive response, kinetic study in real-time, and label-free for biological sensing. Optical fiber sensor has the characteristics of small, low cost, and the same scheme on SPR detecting. In this thesis, we combine the advantages of optical fibers and SPR sensors, a special multi-mode optical fiber with the core diameter of 200 μm being used in the measurement and the method of selective gold deposition on the fiber’s side-polished surface being applied in the sensor’s fabrication processes, in order to enhance the detection sensitivity of the SPR fiber sensors. A novel selective gold deposition method we proposed with a white light (halogens light) source for the SPR detecting is introduced in the analysis, the measurement output signals being delivered to the optical spectrum analyzer (OSA) and the computer to carry out the data analysis. The experiment results show that the selected gold film deposition on the side-polished surface of the fibers with core-200 m can enhance and improve the measurement sensitivity and SPR effect, with 55.85% improvement in the SPR effect and 10.43% enhancement in the detection sensitivity comparing with the results of conventional multi-mode fibers, for the concentration detecting of the sodium hypochlorite solutions with the concentration ranged from 1% to 6%. Besides, several selective gold deposition patterns are designed in this thesis for the investigation of SPR detection sensitivities.
