本研究之目的在探討產品使用上之回饋方式對環境媒體意象之影響,內容包含以下四大部分:(1)調查環境媒體現有事例,並依回饋相似度以群集分析歸納出環境媒體之回饋方式概念結構。(2)依據回饋方式中之五大子概念萃取可能之設計手法,並分別設計樣本實施意象測試。(3)以主成分分析為主之方法,分析樣本之回饋方式與環境媒體回饋意象間之對應關係。(4)利用多元回歸分析法探討環境媒體之回饋方式意象對「回饋性強弱」、「喜歡使用與否」等綜合評價之影響。 環境媒體之回饋方式結構分別由「與它物結合」、「與使用者結合」兩大概念所構成。其設計手法可整理出以下五項具體方向:「與它物結合-表達手法直接明瞭」、「與它物結合-產生情境效果」、「與使用者結合-隱喻表達理念」、「與使用者結合-使用者行為操作配合」、「與使用者結合-使用者行為延伸情境聯想」。 依各類設計手法設計之環境媒體樣本與回饋意象間之關係如下: (1)外型凸顯特色產生視覺回饋效果之樣本群,其設計手法偏向「與它物結合-表達手法直接明瞭」,回饋方式之意象偏向「寂靜的」;(2)產品予人之想像空間與使用結果產生落差之回饋之樣本群,其設計手法偏向「與它物結合-產生情境效果」,回饋方式之意象為「平淡的」且「清晰明朗」。(3)產品之特定操作行為產生情境畫面之回饋之樣本群,其設計手法偏向「與使用者結合」之「隱喻表達理念」及「使用者行為衍生情境聯想」,回饋方式之意象為「朝氣的」。在回饋方式之意象與喜歡使用之因果關係上,「產品予人之想像空間與使用結果產生落差之回饋」之環境媒體設計群,獲最高之「喜歡使用」評價,當其回饋方式具「有趣」意象時,令人喜歡使用。
The study aims to inquire the impact of feedback manners of product usage on ambient media image and has 4 parts as follows: a. a conceptual structure of ambient media feedback manners in terms of feedback relevance and present cases, b. feasible design means extracted from 5 sub-concepts of feedback manners applied to samples, c. the relations between feedback manners and ambient media feedback image were analyzed by the principal component analysis, and d. the overall impacts of ambient media feedback image and manners on strength of feedback or like-to-use were assayed by the multiple regression analysis. The feedback manners consisted of combination with other articles and with users, respectively. 5 design means were generalized: combination with other articles- direct expression, combination with other articles- situation effect, combination with users- implicit expression, combination with users- coordination with users’ behaviors, and combination with users- users’ behavioral extended contextual association. The relations between ambient media samples and feedback image were as follows. (1) The design means of samples with visual feedback effect stressing outlook was the like of combination with other articles- direct expression with silent image. (2) The design means of samples with gap between imagination and usage result was the like of combination with other articles- situation effect with plain and clear image. (3) The design means of samples with specific operating behaviors exerting contextual pictures was the like of combination with users- implicit expression with vivid image. As for causation between feedback image and like-to-use, the highest scores of like-to-use went to the samples of ambient media design cluster with gap between imagination and usage result for users like to use them for interesting image of feedback means.
