本文探討如何自製一新型單槍全方位投影系統,透過全方位投影系統可將空間中360度的影像投射至圓柱狀環形布幕,使操作者能觀賞到360度之連續的全方位影像,取代傳統2D投影機,改善視角不足和畫面不連續的缺點。全方位投影系統節省空間,改善傳統監控系統使用多支投影機和多台閉錄電視監控同一空間場景,造成浪費空間的缺點。另外,可以將全方位投影系統運用在虛擬實境上,取代Eye-Trek眼鏡,使操作者不會感到頭部暈眩。最後,將全方位投影系統應用於煙霧偵測系統上,使用影像處理的技術辨識煙霧的位置,再使用全方位投影系統呈現出煙霧的虛擬場景,使在近端的操作者能即時地通知遠端火災現場的消防員煙霧的方位,以節省時間尋找火源的位置。
This thesis discusses how to construct a new single beam omnidirectional projecting system. It projects the 360-degree images on the cylinder screen through the omnidirectional projector which replaces the traditional projector. It helps an operator see the continuous 360-degree omnidirectional images and improves the fault that a visual angel is not enough and the images are discontinuous. The system is not only save space but also improves the fault of traditional monitor system which use more projectors and closed-circuit televisions to monitor the same space that cause to waste space. It would not make the operator feel dizzy by using omnidirectional projecting system to replace Eye-Trek glasses on the virtual reality. The omnidirectional projecting system is also applied on smoke detection. The operator of control center can notify the firefighter where the fire is immediately, so the firefighter can save the time to find the fire.
