臺中市公立國民小學附設幼稚園行政效能與教學效能之研究

A Study of Administrative Effectiveness and Teaching Effectiveness for the Affiliated Kindergartens with Public Elementary Schools in Taichung City

摘要


摘 要 本研究目的旨在瞭解臺中市公立國小附設幼稚園行政效能與教學效能之現況及其相關性。本研究採自編之「教師知覺幼稚園行政效能量表」與「教師教學效能量表」為研究工具,以臺中市公立國小附設幼稚園全部教師為調查對象,總計發出444份量表,回收有效量表411 份,回收率為92.57%。隨後以描述性統計、獨立樣本t檢定、單因子變異數分析及皮爾遜積差相關等方法進行資料分析。研究結果顯示: 一、公立國小附設幼稚園教師行政效能知覺表現屬中高程度,各層面表現以「組織氣氛」最高,其他依序為「行政管理」、「領導表現」以及「環境資源」。 二、公立國小附設幼稚園教師教學效能表現屬中高程度,各層面表現以「師生互動」最高,其他依序為「教學計畫」、「班級氣氛」、「教學策略」以及「教學評量」。 三、公立國小附設幼稚園教師七成以上兼任行政工作,其行政效能與教學效能的知覺程度高於未兼任行政工作之教師。 四、不同背景變項之公立國小附設幼稚園教師行政效能知覺程度,因其兼任行政工作、園長任用形式、與園所規模之不同而有顯著差異。 五、不同個人背景變項之公立國小附設幼稚園教師教學效能程度,因其年齡、任教年資與兼任行政工作之不同而有顯著差異。 六、公立國小附設幼稚園教師「行政效能」知覺程度與「教學效能」知覺程度呈顯著正相關。表示公立國小附設幼稚園教師對幼稚園行政效能認同度越高,其教學效能表現也越高。 最後根據研究結果提出結論,針對公立國小附設幼稚園行政效能與教 師教學效能提出建議,使公立國小校長、附設幼稚園教師以及幼教主管機關瞭解幼稚園行政效能與教學效能現況,期使未來公立國小附設幼稚園確保良好的行政效能與教師教學效能。

Abstract The purpose of this study was to understand the current state and the correlations between administrative effectiveness and teaching effectiveness for the affiliated kindergartens with public elementary schools in Taichung City. Two self-made scales were used to collect data in the study: one is the Scale for Teachers’ Perceptions of Administrative Effectiveness and the other is the Scale for Teachers’ Teaching Effectiveness. Participants were selected from the teachers of affiliated kindergartens with public elementary schools in Taichung City. A total of 444 copies of scales were distributed to them but 411 returned with return rate 92.57%. The gathered data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, independent samples t test, one-way analysis of variances (ANOVA), and Pearson product-moment correlation analysis. The findings were listed below: 1. The perceptions of administrative effectiveness for kindergarten teachers reach high-intermediate level. The highest is organizational climate, followed by administrative management, leadership performance, and then environmental resources. 2. The performances of teaching effectiveness for kindergarten teachers reach high-intermediate level. The highest is teacher-student interaction, followed by teaching plan, classroom atmosphere, teaching strategy, and then teaching assessment. 3. More than 70% of the kindergarten teachers of public elementary schools have both teaching and administrative duties. And their perceptions of administrative effectiveness and teaching effectiveness are superior to those who do not have administrative duties. 4. Significant differences are found among the perceptions of administrative effectiveness for kindergarten teachers by different background variables of the involvement in administrative duties, the ways of manager recruitment and the kindergarten size. 5. Significant differences are also found among the performances for kindergarten teachers by different personal background variables of age, teaching experience, and involvement in administrative duties. 6. There are positive correlations between administrative effectiveness and teaching effectiveness for the kindergarten teachers of affiliated kindergartens with public elementary schools. This indicates that the higher their perceptions of the administrative effectiveness are, the better their performances of teaching effectiveness are. Finally, based on the findings of the study, suggestions were made for the administrative effectiveness and teaching effectiveness in order to help elementary school principals, affiliated kindergartens, kindergarten teachers, and educational organizations concerned to understand better the current state of administrative effectiveness and teaching effectiveness. It is expected that there will be better administrative effectiveness and teaching effectiveness for the affiliated kindergartens with public elementary schools in the future.
