臺中市國民小學教師媒體素養與教學效能之相關研究

A Study of the Relationships between Media Literacy and Teaching Effectiveness for Elementary School Teachers in Taichung City

摘要


本研究旨在探討臺中市國民小學教師媒體素養與教學效能之相關,以暸解國小教師媒體素養與教學效能現況,並分析不同背景變項的教師媒體素養與教學效能之差異情形。本研究以 2009年臺中市公立國民小學之正式教師為研究對象,以自編之「臺中市國民小學教師媒體素養與教學效能關係之調查問卷」為研究工具,採分層隨機抽樣方法進行問卷調查。問卷寄發學校共計 25所、443位教師,實得有效問卷為 415份,回收率達 93.7%。所得資料以描述統計、t 考驗、單因子變異數分析和積差相關等方法進行統計分析,並獲致以下結論: 一、臺中市國民小學教師之媒體素養屬中上程度。 二、臺中市國民小學教師之教學效能屬中上程度。 三、年齡在教師媒體素養上有顯著差異。 四、性別、職務和研習進修在教師教學效能上有顯著差異。 五、臺中市國民小學教師媒體素養與教學效能有顯著正相關。

The main purposes of this study were to explore the relationships between media literacy and teaching effectiveness for elementary school teachers in Taichung City, to understand the current practice and to analyze the differences between media literacy and teaching effectiveness by different background variables. The participants were selected by randomly stratified sampling from the public elementary school teachers in Taichung City in 2009 year. Self-made “Questionnaire of Media Literacy and Teaching Effectiveness for Elementary School Teachers in Taichung City” was used to collect data in the study. A total of 443 teachers from 25 schools received the questionnaires and 415 were valid (return rate: 93.7%). The collected data were analyzed to test the hypothesis through the uses of descriptive statistics, the t-test, one-way ANOVA, and Pearson’s product-moment correlation. The major conclusions were listed as follows: 1. The media literacy of elementary school teachers in Taichung City reaches above average level. 2. The teaching effectiveness of elementary school teachers in Taichung City reaches above average level, too. 3. Significant difference is found in the media literacy by different age. 4. Significant differences are found among the variables by gender, positions and in-service education. 5. Positive correlations is found between media literacy and teaching effectiveness of the elementary school teachers in Taichung City.
