In order to study the distinguish of depression status for hemodialysis patients in home (Household group) and Care agencies (Care group), this study used cross-sectional, retrospective, descriptive studies, by using structured questionnaire that developed by Beck in 1967, i.e. the "Beck’s Depression Evaluation Sheet" and “Social Support Evaluation Sheet”. In term of depression, the interviewees from Care group show much higher depression significantly than Household group. In term of “Social support”, there is no significant difference between Care and Household groups. However, female interviewees from Care group receive higher Social support than male interviewees. For Household group, social support will be varied subject to other chronic ills. In addition, there is no significant difference between Care and Household groups in the connection of social support and depression after statistic analysis.
