The mutual impact between the environment and health behavior is the main connotation for the health promotion in recent years. Psychologists believe that the behavior in early childhood developed from the early life experiences - "family". Scholars of Sociology also explain the prototype of personal interactions by using "family" as the smallest unit of society. The paper uses the data from the investigation on” Panel Study of Family Dynamics---RR2005” to conduct research and analyses and uses Chinese families of adult as samples for the study to explore the effect of family member interaction relationship on health behavior through psychological and sociological point of view and to make use of the relationships among the three elements, “behaviors, attitudes, and the environment” to inspect the factors which contribute to the health behavior. This study will explore the relevant factors of the impacts on the health behavior of Taiwan's adults by socio-demographic variables, physical, psychological, and social dimensions. The results showed that: the factors that affect exercise behaviors are sex, age, educational levels, chronic illness, and interpersonal trust. The factors that affect health check-up behaviors are sex, age, education level, family structure, chronic illness, and self-consciousness towards the mother. The factors that affect smoking behaviors are sex, age, educational level, and marital status. Socio-demographic variables: sex, age, educational levels, marital status, family structure, also have different effects on the three health dimensions which are physical, psychological and social dimensions. This study suggests that the researches in the future should focus on the various dimensions of health, and increase the amount of researches on the interpretation of the variables. Through this, other factors which have impacts on health behaviors can be sought out in order to implement the preventive health promotion policies thoroughly.
