媒體有關登革熱衛教宣導對民眾行為的影響－以臺中市東區為例

The Effects of Mass Media Campaign of Dengue Fever on People’s Behavior-The East District of Taichung City as an Example

摘要

本文旨在探討臺灣大眾傳播有關登革熱之宣導對民眾防疫的知識、態度、及行為所造成的影響，藉以評估媒體衛教宣導之效果。為達成此項研究目的，有關之評價模式因而予以建立，並以臺中市東區作為測試或個案研究之地區－利用抽樣調查方式蒐集評價所需之資料。
　　分析結果顯示，在調查時，絕大多數之受訪者均接觸有關登革熱之衛教宣導，且具有登革熱防疫的知識、態度、及行為。若與媒體宣導前作比較，無論是登革熱之認知與態度或防疫的行為均有顯著之增加。可見媒體衛教宣導具有相當之成效。其中民眾最常接觸的媒體為電視、其次為報紙、廣播更次之。

This study examines the effects of mass media campaign of Dengue Fever on its preventive knowledge, attitude, and practice in Taiwan. For this undertaking an evaluative model if formulated and tested by a case study in the East District of Taichung City through the use of sampling survey data.
The analytical results indicate that a great majority of people have been exposed to the Dengue Fever advertisement from mass media campaign and have its preventive knowledge, attitude, and practice at time of interview. As compared with the status before exposure to the Dengue fever advertisement, the KAP has significantly increased. The finding seems to suggest that the mass media campaign of Dengue Fever is effective to provide information of Dengue Fever in Taiwain. Among mass media, television is the most accessible and effective media, followed by newspaper, and radio in order.
