發電機公司競爭力之個案研究

摘要


發電機產業近年來在面臨工資、土地成本不斷上升及產業外移、勞工意識抬頭等經營環境不利情況下,經營日益困難。有鑑於此,本論文選擇三家經營績效良好之個案廠商進行深入訪談,並分析個案公司在各構面之競爭力強、弱及公司背景,運用Hill & Jones所提出之競爭力優勢為研究構面並建立個案訪談依據,另以層級分析法協助分析競爭力因素結構權值,方便個案公司做為策略制定之依據。 結合產、官、學者之實証結果,國內發電機產業就整體提升競爭力之重要構面,以「品質」所佔權重最高,故在偏重技術性質之發電機行業,對於產品之性能穩定度、耐久度、品質控制方式及易維修度應特別注重,對公司競爭力影響層面亦最深遠;其次為「顧客回應」,發電機公司對於客戶之回應即時處理、顧客技術支援及產品保固等因素應妥慎規劃及重視;第三為「效率」,發電機公司對於客戶開發能力、技術提昇及成本控制應有效掌握,以便達成較高效率之營運;最後為「創新」能力,對於整體產業之技術整合能力、產品客製化及服務方式創新等作為,發電機產業及公司則尚待開創具體策略,來爭取更具價值之空間。

Due to recent years of continuous laborer salary increase, escalation in real-estate, production lines and factories moving abroad and local organization lobbying for more laborer benefits and rights, the power plan manufacturing industry is now faced with the difficulty of staying in business. For this reason this thesis has chosen three reputable and profitable companies to better understand their background, business philosophy and analyze competitiveness concepts to include their strong and weak points. Utilizing Competitiveness Advantages by Hill & Jones as the tool for research, establishing individual case studies, and with the aids of Analytic Hierarchy Process, to reach correlations between competitive factors and organizational framework. Combining research results from the government, industries and the academic sectors on improving competitiveness, Product Quality is the most important factor. Power plan industry which emphasis more on the technical technology aspect of manufacturing should concentrate and emphasize with more importance on stability, durability, quality control and easy repair accessibility of the products. This will have a long term effect on the industry, and results in a better competitive edge, in term, business survivability for a company. The next important factor is Customer Response. Power plan companies needs to implement sound management plans responding to customer requests, technical support and product warranty. The third important factor is Efficiency. Power plan companies should be able to effectively control cost, technology improvement and clientele development to achieve better and higher efficiency. Lastly, Innovation Capability. The ability to change and establish strategies with ever changing market requirement, industry technology integration and service manners to strive for a better edge.
