隨著社會的變遷與醫學的進步,老年的人口持續攀升。依據行政院經建會調查(2003)年台灣65 歲以上的老年人口占總人口的比率已超過9%,預估(2020)年將高達14%。台灣老年人口逐漸成長將成為高齡人口化的社會。面對家庭結構核心化,生育率逐漸降低,婦女就業增加,家庭的照顧功能日漸薄弱等,社會環境的急劇變使得遷這幾年來老人照護的問題也層出不窮。目前台灣長期居家照護皆著重人力看護,目前台灣護理人力已不足以應付照顧服務需求的多元化與專業化。 因應上述問題本研究將RFID 無線射頻技術與PDA(個人數位助理)做整合,再經由無線網路系統與中央電腦資料庫連結。藉由RFID 無線射頻技術病人識別能力,以PDA 調閱所需病人病歷資訊與記錄,減少醫護人員調閱病歷時間及各項醫療相關記錄。另ㄧ方面也降低護理人員不足情況下,提供醫護人員一套便捷的臨床護理資訊系統。
Along with the changes of society structure and the advance of medical technology, the aging population in Taiwan soars continuously. According to a report form Ministry of Interior the population with age 65 and over in Tainwan was 9% since 2003; this aging population will grow to 14% by 2020. Taiwan is therefore gradually advanced to anaging population society. In the face of family structure simplifying, fertility rate reducing gradually, woman employment opportunity increasing, and the home ability care to the aging family member getting weaker day by day, etc., there emerge in an endless problems in aging family member care issues. Currently the long-term care facilities for aging population in Taiwan still rely mostly on manual nurse care. The existing nurse-specialty population is not enough to meet the variety and specialty demands of long-term nursing care requirement. To assist in resolving the issue described above. This research will build a cliuical nursing information system by integrating Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology with Personal Digital Assistant (PDA) platform and link via wireless network system to central computer database. For cliniced nursing information With patient's recognition capability of Radio Frequency Identification (RFID), and using PDA to retrieve and update necessary patient's medical history information and record, this system will save nursingl personnel time to transfer and read case history and medical treatment relevant records. This system not only reduces labor cost on one hand, but also will provide nursing personnel an easy and timely clinical nursing information.
