在學習的環境中,動畫虛擬角色人物被稱之為動畫教學代理人。而動畫教學代理人的優勢在於利用其運用肢體動作、言語或面部表情來增進互動式教學系統的社會性或社交性。而大多數的研究也指出動畫教學代理人確實能引起學習者在學習活動的學習動機,並且能夠增進學習成效。故本研究團隊提出一套「可支援動畫教學代理人導向技術的國小教學軟體(courseware)」,而本研究在於探討並且說明本教學軟體中針對國小學童所設計之學習系統(learning system)。此系統主要是提供一套可執行由教師所編輯之動畫教學代理人導向的數位教材的數位學習平台,並提供國小學生進行數位學習。本研究以台中縣某國小三年級學童為對象,並以「交通安全」教材為主,配合該校多數教師常用的投影片多媒體教學作為控制組,以及利用本團隊所研發之教學軟體製作相同內容的數位教材以及學習系統作為實驗組,實際實測兩組的學童後,所得到的相關數據經過分析後發現,使用本研究所製作的教學系統的學童確實能夠得到較好的學習成效。
The animated characters in multimedia learning systems are also termed animated pedagogical agents. One important benefit of animated pedagogical agent is to increase the social dimensions or sociability of interactive instructional systems in non-verbal forms of communication, such as body gestures, speech, and facial expressions. Many researches have evidences that animated pedagogical agents can have positive impact on cognitive and affective development of learners . This paper proposes a courseware that has been developed to encourage computer-assisted learning in Taiwan elementary education. And the important point of this paper is an animated pedagogical agent based learning system. The designed courseware provides a learning system for learners in elementary education to interact with curriculum scripts authored by teachers. We utilized the instruction of traffic safety as the interactive learning materials and the subjects of this study were 34 third grade students from a class of a elementary school in Taichung County. The subjects were divided into two groups. The controlled group was provided the PPT(Power Point) learning material which usually made by most teachers. The experimental group was provided the learning material which made by courseware , and broadcasted by the learning system. After surveying the pupils of two groups actually, relevant data got are found after analyzing, the pupil of learning system using this research institute to make can really get better study effect.
