由3DS MAX建模工具之使用性探討學習的方法與效率

摘要


許多設計系的學生,因設計軟體功能過多,使用者學習困難,易產生挫折感,而降低學習效率,造成許多困擾。本研究因而以3DS MAX軟體建模功能為例,用來探討3D軟體教學與使用的問題。 本研究蒐集相關文獻與前人相關研究,找出理論基礎,發現3D建模軟體的學習問題,前人並未提出有效的解決方案。故本研究希望深入探討設計軟體學習的問題,以找出改善的方法。首先以問卷調查大學生研習3DS MAX建模功能時面臨的問題,有設計系學生165人接受調查。統計調查結果發現,受調者認為使用建模工具教科書有助於學習;再者,受調者建模熟練度、建模認知能力、模型佈線與分析能力,均自覺不足,在心理上有挫折感之負面現象存在。此調查結果無性別差異。 本研究針對所找出的問題點,採用專家焦點小組法討論對策,認為可藉由改變現有教材內容改善研習效率。依據焦點小組所提改良建議,本研究針對建模功能設計一套新的學習方法,並進行使用性實驗。實驗結果發現,實驗組101位受測者對新的學習方法及其學習成果非常滿意。另以接受既有教學課程結束後之20位學生進行對照實驗。實驗組與對照組滿意度比較,證明受測者在使用新的學習方法後,除了可完成學習建模目標,並可由學習過程中,增加學習信心以排除負面心理挫折,進而提升學習上的效率與學習動機。 本研究證明以新的專案型學習方法為原則,改善操作3D建模的學習手冊內容,能大幅提升學習效率。其他設計軟體的學習之類似課題,可應用本研究提出學習方法設計之參考原則,編寫改善學習的教材。

Many students of design department have learning problems which are attributed to redundancy functions, it makes students decrease learning efficiency and have negative frustration. This research focus on the usability of 3D software modeling. It explores the problems of software usability and attempts to solve them. This research assembles related records and finds out learning problems of 3D modeling software, related research did not come up with effective solutions. The results of investigation found the subjects confirm the functions on guide of modeling creative tools. Firstly, there are 165 subjects who are the students of design department accepting to investigate of using 3DS MAX model-construction. It shows that subjects consider facilitate studying of using the tool textbook of modeling. Further more, the skilled level of modeling, cognition level of modeling, model-construction ability and analysis ability were evaluated by subjects and are all under satisfaction level and have negative frustration. There is no difference between genders. This research uses expert focus group method to find out some possible strategy to those problems. This research generalizes methods to improve the existing teaching materials and designs a set of study method to experiment. The experimental results show that subjects who are the 101 students of experiment group of design department are pleased about the new study method. In addition, after comparing 20 people of control group and analyzing, the experimental results and subjects’ satisfaction level to prove that subjects after using the new study method, except achieve the study modeling goal, furthermore, it can add confidence to eliminate negative frustration and to raise further the learning efficiency and motive by the learning process. This research proves to improve learning efficiency that is the principle of using new project type and reforming the contents of learning manual. Other similar learning topics of design software can apply to this research and find out improving methods of learning.
