研究旨在探討手機、電玩遊戲與國中生學業表現之相關性研究。研究工具採用「手機使用現況調查表」、「電玩遊戲行為現況調查表」及「基本資料表」,並以九十八學年度南投縣國中七、八、九年級學生為研究對象,有效樣本共計798人,問卷回收整理後,再以描述性統計、獨立樣本T檢定及單因子變異數進行分析。 以平均數來看,南投縣國中學生手機使用行為與電玩遊戲行為約在中等程度左右,再以T檢定和單因子變異數進行分析後得知,國中生的手機使用行為會因年級不同的背景條件而有所差異;電玩遊戲也會因年級、性別等背景不同而產生差異;而國中生的學業表現會因性別、家庭社經地位等不同背景條件而有所差異。 此外,亦發現國中生手機使用行為、電玩遊戲行為與學業表現之間也有顯著差異。更重要的是,研究顯示,國中生手機使用與電玩遊戲愈高程度的使用者,有較差的學業表現。 最後根據研究結果對學生、家長、學校、教育機關與未來研究者提出建議。
In this study, the correlations of cell phones, video games as well as academic performance for junior high school students in Nantou County had been evaluated. The use of methods in terms of the current status of cellular phone and video games implementation in junior high schools, and the students' background were seen. The survey was conducted among the seventh grade, eighth grade and ninth grade students of the public junior high in Nantou County. Results were analyzed by descriptive statistics, independent samples t-test as well as one-way ANOVA. Based on the average measurements, the cell phones and video games behavior of students were near the intermediate level. In the methods of ttest and oneway ANOVA analyses, the cell phones behavior was significantly related to grad as the video games behavior of the junior high school students existed great relation to grade and gender respectively. The academic performance showed significant relation to gender and family social-economic status. In addition, there was a significant difference among the cell phones behavior , video games behavior and academic performance of junior high school students. Most importantly, both in the the cell phones behavior and video games behavior, the more excessive users had lower academic performance than the less excessive users. Based on the conclusions, this study proposes some suggestions for students, parents, school institutions, educational institutes and further research.
