自古以來,人類的演進發展史,無非是回應問題與解決問題的一連串持續過程。而解決問題的速度快慢以及成本高低已經成為決定一個企業勝敗興衰存亡的關鍵因素。六標準差改善手法是一種有效解決問題之管理方法,結合了成本與統計的分析,以解決各種類型的問題,並可得到了極大的改善。此外,要求更好的產品品質是時代必然走向,也是企業追求之目標,企業應以提升自身的產品品質降低產品不良率為優先考慮,並藉由六標準差改善活動,提高產品品質降低產品不良率,進而提升公司績效,本研究應用六標準差改善產品品質與降低產品不良率,並找出造成產品不良率之關鍵因素。研究結果顯示出個案公司在上貼紙作業時出錯情形最為嚴重,而貼上貼紙作業中又以貼上尺寸貼紙錯誤率最高,其關鍵影響因素為公司制度中未有明確的標準作業流程,造成整體產品不良率提高。
