非正式社會支持網絡與支持滿意對中老年人憂鬱傾向之影響

摘要

本研究之主要目的是探討非正式社會支持系統以及相關變項是否會影響台灣中老年人的憂鬱傾向。採用戶基護航網絡作為非正式社會支持系統進行實證研究，資料則係採用國健局資料庫中2007年第六波台灣地區中老年人身心社會生活狀況長期追蹤調查資料進行分析。邏輯斯迴歸分析中發現，性別、年齡、教育程度、居住地、目前健康、健康和一年前比、目前經濟、經濟和四年前比、有無失去子女、ADL有無以及IADL有無，在控制戶基護航網絡後仍對中老年人之憂鬱傾向有顯著影響。而戶基護航網絡之第三圈對中老年人之憂鬱傾向也具有顯著直接效果，但在加入”對家人關心滿意程度”變項後戶基護航網絡第二圈則變為有正向顯著影響。上述結果顯示對家人關心覺得滿意對中老年人口憂鬱傾向是一個重要關鍵因素。

The main purpose of this study was to explore if the informal social support system and related variables might affect the tendency of depression among the middle-aged and elderly in Taiwan. Taking household-based convoy as an indicator of informal social support system, an empirical study was performed based on the data of ”Survey of Heaalth and Living Status of the Elderly in Taiwan.” which was collecteed by the Bureau of Health Pomotion in 2007. Logistic regression analysis found that gender, age, educational level, place of residence, current health, health a year ago, current economic status, economy status four years ago, the loss of their children, ADL and IADL had a significant effect on tendency of depression among Taiwanese middle-aged and the elderly when the household-based convoy was controlled. Meanwhile, we had noted that the third circle of household-based convoy also had a significant effect on depression. When we add “satisfaction with care support provided by family members” to our regression model, the second circle of household-based convoy became significant; but the third circle became insignificant. The above results showed that satisfication with care support provided by family members was one of the major factors of depression tendency.
