The purpose of this study was to explore the effect of perception training on performance of tennis baseline stroke anticipation. The participants in this study were 45 students voluntarily enrolled in a tennis class at llan Institute of Technology, who had half a year playing experience. They were divided into three groups (each group had 15 students), which were randomly assigned to the sense training group, the placebo group and the control group. Participants underwent training for 20 minutes each time, three times a week for four consecutive weeks. The data collected before and after testing were used to calculate the success rate of direction anticipation. A one-way ANOVA was used to analyze the data. The results showed that there were differences between the three groups. After the post-hoc analysis, it showed that the sense training group had better performance than the placebo group and control group, and the placebo group had better performance than the control group.
