不同性質之高爾夫推桿與高爾夫球在快、慢果嶺推桿距離的影響分析

Analysis of Putting Distance on Different Putter Lofts, Golf Balls, Green Speeds, and Putting Surface Materials

摘要


研究顯示,一個十八洞球局數中,一般的球友需花費總桿數的38-42%在推桿上。由此可看出推桿技術的優劣對高球成績的影響。而高爾夫是戶外運動,必然會受到風向、地形、氣候、保養及草種等種種狀態的左右,加上球友們不可能每天保持一樣的心理和生理條件來打球,所以針對這些不同的狀態和條件來做好相應的「球具搭配」就變得非常重要。本研究主要目的在於比較不同材質的高爾夫推桿桿面(軟鐵鍛造、內嵌鈹銅及內嵌樹脂)與桿面斜度(1°、3°、5°、7°、9°)對軟(三層球)、硬(雙層球)高爾夫球在快、中、慢果嶺(5-12級)的擊球滾動距離影響分析,進而探討與歸納出四種因子在交叉比對後的結果及其對高爾夫推桿距離所造成的影響。最後在依研究結果與結論提出建議,可供國內高爾夫運動的愛好者瞭解選擇推桿及用球的重要性,作為日後從事高爾夫運動的參考。

The purpose of this study was to investigate the analysis of puffing distance on different putter lofts, golf balls, green speeds, and puffing surface materials. Loft is the angle of the putter face when compared to the putting surface. The proper loft depends on the speed of the greens most frequently played. Three different materials were used as putting surfaces, and each surface was used at each of five positive angles (1、3、5、7、and 9 degrees) in this study. Analysis of results indicated that golfers who play on slower greens might benefit from putters with additional loft, while golfers who play on faster greens may benefit from decreased loft. In the golf balls test, the two piece ball (Top Flite XL) had a significantly higher level of rolling distance than the three piece ball (Titleist Tour Balata). However, in the putting surface materials test, the White Hot 2 Ball putter had a significantly higher level of rolling distance than the Titleist Studio Design 1.5 putter and the Dunlop Copper Insert puffer. There were small differences in performance for the Studio Design 1.5 putter and the Dunlop Copper Insert putter.
