Mastitis is one of the reasons for ceasing breast-feeding. In spite of fever, pain and mass, infection is also noted if delayed treating. Although Western medicine has definite diagnosis, long term use of antibiotics will cause blood stasis. Traditional Chinese Medicine emphasizes the pattern identification and has good effect and prognosis by combining external and internal treatments.
