Advantages of Laser Acupuncture for Weight Loss

摘要

According to literatures published before, Laser Acupuncture combined with low calorie diet can treat effectively the central obesity after menopause Literatures also indicate that over-strict diet control usually leads to the failure in weight loss. Thus, this study observes the diet agreement for simple obesity patients under the therapy of Laser Acupuncture combined with non-overstrict diet control There are 22 males and 73 females included, all of whom BMI are greater than 27 kg/m^2. The average daily intake for females is of 1620.0 Calorie, while 1894.2 Calorie for males. The author treated with handylaser trion (type 50785, made in Germany) by BAHR-Frequencies which energy reached 0.25 J/cm^2 and took the acupuncture points including stomach point, hungry point, ST25, SP 15, RN9, ST28, ST40 etc., After treatment for 12 times, the average weight loss of the patients is 3.17 kg and 3.80% (P＜0.0001), while BMI loss is 1.22 kg/m^2 and 3.78% (p＜0.0001). The laser acupuncture combines the effect of traditional acupuncture and low-energy laser, through the adjustment to neural and endocrine system, to reaches the effects in weight loss. Due to the reasonable and nonstrict diet agreement won't lead to hunger, patients got higher acceptance. To sum up, one skilled doctor can apply laser acupuncture to control simple obesity effectively, through the loss of body-weight and BMI. And Laser acupuncture has the advantages of safety, painless, effectiveness and convenience in the intervention of weight loss.
