中醫治療鼻咽癌患者放療後副作用研究

摘要

鼻咽癌是最常發生於中國人的癌症之一，尤其是在中國大陸東南沿海各省以及台灣地區，都是高好發地區。當患者被診斷出罹患鼻咽癌後，放射治療是目前標準的治療方式，但是在治療雖能殺死癌細胞，但嚴重的副作用卻造成照射部位的疼痛、麻木，以及組織及腺體的破壞。本案病例提出64歲鼻咽癌患者，經放射治療後出現嚴重副作用而有皮膚組織、唾液腺破壞、唾液分泌減少等後遺症出現，造成口乾口渴、咽喉炎、吞嚥困難、食慾降低、味覺改變等症狀，影響了作息及生活的品質。在中醫藥的介入治療後，服用科學中藥經過三個月的治療，患者的臨床症狀明顯改善，達到令人滿意的效果，可提供作為治療上的參考。

Nasopharyngeal Cancer is one of the most common cancer in the Chinese people, especially in the southeastern coastal provinces of Mainland China and Taiwan. When the patients were diagnosed with nasopharyngeal cancer, radiation therapy is currently the standard treatment. Although the killing of cancer cells after trarment, there are many serious side effects after radiotherapy. Patients in the irradiated sites caused discomfort, destructive syndromes in tissue and glands. The 64-year-old patient with nasopharyngeal carcinoma after radiation therapy caused severe side effects in skin, salivary gland., resulting in dry mouth, thirst, sore throat, difficult swallowing, loss of appetite, taste changes and other symptoms, affecting the quality of life. Intervention in Traditional Chinese medicine for three months treatment, the patient’s symptoms were improved significantly. The treatment achieves satisfactory results and can be provided as a reference for clinical physicians.
