摘要

最近有愈來愈多的研究指出，氣喘病患本身甚至於臨床醫師常低估了病患氣喘的嚴重度以及高估了病患氣喘的控制狀況。氣喘疾病控制的好壞與否會影響病患的生活品質。近年來氣喘治療的依據不再只是強調氣喘的嚴重程度，而是需要再加上氣喘的被控制程度來決定。氣喘控制測驗(Asthma Control Test; ACT)和兒童氣喘控制測驗(Childhood Asthma Control Test; C-ACT)是目前全球得到最多專家認同及廣泛使用的控制評估工具。它們使用起來十分簡單而且方便快速。在台灣，它們也被翻譯成繁體中文版，以供臨床應用。ACT和C-ACT的實用性，對於臨床醫師和病患都是一大福音。透過氣喘控制測驗的評估，病人跟醫師間有一個共同可以理解的氣喘控制評估方式，而以病人氣喘控制程度的好壞來作出判斷及治療建議，也有助臨床醫師對於兒童氣喘病情有更好的掌握。

There were increasing evidences suggest that asthma patients and their physicians tend to underestimate their severity of asthma, and overestimate degree of asthma control. This could greatly hamper the treatment outcome. The level of asthma control is closely related to the life quality of asthma patients, therefore the concept of ”controlling asthma” become more and more important. With the development of asthma control test (ACT) and childhood asthma control test (C-ACT), patients now could evaluate the level of asthma control on their own. Now, they became the most widely used self-evaluation tools across the world. In Taiwan, ACT has been translated into Chinese version by Taiwan Asthma Council (TAC). For their convenience and effectiveness, ACT and C-ACT won great recognition from asthma experts and patients globally. Through ACT and C-ACT, patients can achieve a better understanding of their asthma control and physicians have an efficient way to evaluate the patient's condition.
