桑寄生保肝護腎之療效評估

Reno Hepato-Protective Effects of "Shang Jisheng"

摘要


桑寄生是我國古代沿用至今的常用藥材之一,始載於 《 神農本草經 》 ,列為上品,原名桑上寄生。 《 中國藥典 》 將寄生分別以樹寄生和桑寄生收載,懈寄生為桑寄生科植物樹寄生Viscum colortum( Kom. )NAKAI的乾燥帶葉莖枝,桑寄生為同科植物桑寄生Taxillus chinensis DANSER. 的乾燥帶葉莖枝。枓寄生及大葉桑寄生在臺灣藥材市場均當寄生使用。臺灣市售寄生藥材,據調有約60%為槲寄生 Viscum colortum(KOM. ) NAKAI (簡寫為VC),其餘40%為臺灣產之大葉桑寄生Taxillus liquidambaricolus(HAYATA. )HOSOKAWA.(簡寫為TL)。藥典記載其具有怯風濕,補肝腎,弦筋骨,安胎之功效。用於風濕痺痛,腰膝酸軟,胎動不安。一般認為具有行血,壯筋骨,降血壓之效。治血崩,妊婦血漏,產後疾患,腰痛,腫毒等及有保肝之活性。 寄生民間有用於肝炎的治療,且傳統認為其具有補肝腎之功效,因此推論對肝、腎應具有適當之保護作用。因此,本研究擬以市售大葉桑寄生(TL)及枓寄生(VC)之甲醇抽出物進行其保肝護腎療效之評估。此本研究擬以對位乙醱氨基醉 Acetaminophen ( APAP )誘發大鼠肝、腎損傷,以進行其保肝護腎之療效評估。結果由生化指標,大葉桑寄生及枓寄生皆具有保肝護腎的功能。另外,由病理組織切片觀察發現此兩種寄生能夠減少乙醱氨基酴誘發的發炎、充血、壞死等損傷。此種結果與血清之生化指標作用吻合。

Jisheng is one of the most commonly used Chinese medicines since ancient China. It was first described in ”Shen Nong Ben-Tsao Jing”, called ”Shangjisheng” whichwasclassified into the topChinesemedicine. ”Ben Jing” and ”Yao Dian” also described the Jisheng can treat rheumatism, disease of liver or kidney, upset at gestation and hypertension. According to our preliminary investigation in the trade market in Taiwan, 40% of the Jishengs were Taxillus Jiquidainbaricolus (Hayata.) Hosokawa (TL), whereas 60% were Viscuin colortuin (Kom.) Nakai (VC). Both of them were used as the Jisheng in the prescription. In folk therapy, Jisheng is usually to treat hepatitis. ”Compendium of Materia Medica” also described that the Jisheng can nourish the liver and kidney. Therefore, it can reasonably be proposed that the Jisheng should have the effects to protect the liver and kidney. To further evaluating the nourishing effects of Jisheng on the liver and kidney, both ethanol-extracted TL and VC were used in the present study to treat acetaminophen (APAP)-induced damages of the rat liver and kidney. From the biochemical and pharmacological results, both the TL and VC extracts have the protection effects on the liver and kidney. Pathological results also revealed that both the extracts could decrease the APAP-induced liver inflammation, stagnant blood and necrosis. These results are in consistent with the biochemical indexes of serum.
