摘要


本文提出一新型可調式積體光學光補/取多工元件,針對其元件特性作一設計並模擬。該元件以非對稱布拉格光柵耦合器架構為基礎,嘗試製作出低成本、易量產且符合現今通信系統需求之新式光波長補取多工器之原型。元件可對單一波長同時進行光補/取動作,以液晶原理進行小範圍之選擇波長調整,操作頻寬為32.5±8GHz,波長可調範圍為1549.15~1551.15nm,即250GHz。

A novel type of tunable optical add/drop multiplexer device is presented in this paper. The structure is based on the asymmetric bragg coupler in terms of the polymer ridged waveguide and the liquid crystal as the active lager material. The operating bandwidth is about 32.5±8GHz, and the range is about 250GHz for narrow band tuning.
