為瞭解各種治療外耳黴菌感染之藥劑的療效,本試驗選擇了5種共9株外耳道常見黴菌和2摯珠菌,以Klargin、Mycomb®、BAAG和龍膽紫(gentian-violet)4種治療劑做感受性試驗。此外,以同樣方式,取正常人外耳道之耳垢作試驗,以瞭解其是否具有抑制黴菌的作用。從初步試駵超果發現:1)Klargin及龍膽紫對麴菌(aspergillus)所引起的外耳道感染具有很好的效果;2)針對麴菌的抑制效果做比較,Klargin略優於龍膽紫。若以對念珠菌(candida)的抑制效果做比較,Klargin卻不及龍膽紫;3)Mycomb®(含triamcinolone acetonide及nystatin)對各種麴菌均無抑制效果,但對外耳道的念珠菌感染有很好的效果;4)BAAG(含boric acid)對黴菌的抑制效果並不明顯;5)6組耳垢中有3組出現抑制黴菌生長的作用,尤其對黑麴菌(Asp. niger)的抑制特別顯著。至於乾型及溼型耳垢之間的抑制黴菌作用,從本試驗結果仍看不出明顯差異。
Aspergillus and candida are the most common fungi isolated from otomycosis. In order to understand their drug susceptability, we collected 4 species of aspergillus and 2 species of candida isolated from clinical specimens, and then tested their drug sensitivity with 4 kinds of otic drops (including Klargin, BAAG, gentian violet and Mycomb). The results were presented. The external ear canal provides a warm and moist environment, which would be expected to favour the growth of opportunistic fungi. In the normal human ear such infections are relatively uncommon and this is thought to be due in part to the protective effect of human cerumen. This study examines the activity of normal human cerumen against the most common fungal pathogens of the external ear canal.
