The purpose of the research is to analyze the effect of the table tennis serving placement code to the technique learning results. In the process of the research, a forehand long and short shots serving in table tennis are set into the teaching unit. With the practical experience of more than forty years from a player, coach, instructor and trainer, the author has been collecting different kinds of information and data. The research objects are the forth and fifth grade students from the five-year junior college program (interest options) and the freshmen from the four-year college program (general course in physical education) of Ling Tung University in the school year of 2003, to test and compare the results that were held before and after the training. The result indicates that the success rate is increase after the training by the method and the forth grade/freshmen students were better in long short shots serving, respectively.
