本研究旨在探討高中數理資優學生的生涯發展準備度,將自編「高中學生生涯發展準備度量表」,對北、中、南三區男、女校,各選一所之學生共545 名,進行施測。資料經統計分析發現:高中資優學生,不論性別、社會經濟地位、地區,在整體得分方面,均呈現略低情形。在各分量表得分方面,除了工作抱負一項得分較高外,其他如在生涯探索、與工作有關的態度、與工作有關的行為,以及生涯資訊等向度的得分,均略低,呈現生涯發展準備度未臻於成熟的現象。研究者據此等結論,分別向學校、學科教師和輔導教師提出建議。
The purpose of the study was to explore career development readiness of senior high gifted students in mathematics and sciences. Four hundred and forty-five students wee selected by purposeful sampling from the northern, middle, and southern areas of Taiwan as samples. They were administrated authors' self-constructed ”Scale of Career Development Readiness for Senior High Students”. After analyzing the collected data, the authors found all scores of the students on the Scale among gender, socio-economic status, and area were lower and under the average. They gained lower scores on career exploration, work-related attitudes, work-related behaviors, and career information sub-scales except on career spiration. It was indicated all the gifted in mathematics and sciences didn't reach maturity in career development readiness. The authors proposed some recommendations to schools, subject teachers and counselors for promoting the senior high gifted's career development readiness based on the findings.
