臺中市家長參與身心障礙幼兒轉銜服務之調查研究

Parent Participation in Preschool Transition Services for Children with Special Needs in Taichung City

摘要


本研究旨在探討臺中市身心障礙幼兒家長對幼小轉銜服務的認知情形、家長參與幼小轉銜服務的現況、及家長參與幼小轉銜服務過程遭遇的困難與所需的協助。研究者以自編「身心障礙幼兒家長參與幼小轉銜服務調查問卷」為研究工具,共寄出200份問卷,回收有效問卷173份,回收率為86.50%。所得資料以描述性統計、單因子變異數分析、皮爾斯積差相關、及簡單迴歸分析等方法進行處理。研究結果如下:(1)家長對幼小轉銜服務認知情形趨向於大部分知道,以「家長參與幼小轉銜服務的重要性」最佳;(2)不同居住地區、教育程度、及家庭收入的家長,對幼小轉銜服務的認知情形有顯著差異;(3)家長參與幼小轉銜服務的現況為中等程度以上,以「學校層面的參與」和「家庭層面的參與」最佳;(4)不同居住地區、教育程度、家庭收入及子女障礙類別的家長,對參與幼小轉銜服務的情形有顯著差異;(5)家長的幼小轉銜服務認知對參與幼小轉銜服務現況具有預測力;(6)家長參與幼小轉銜服務的困難以「自己沒有足夠的能力和技巧,在家教導子女入國小準備能力」最多,需要的協助以「學校老師都能真心接納自己的孩子」最多。

The purpose of this study is to explore the cognition and participation of parents in the preschool transition services for children with special needs in Taichung city, and to understand the difficulties and assistance needed for parents. The research instrument is the questionnaire on "Parent Participation in Preschool Transition Services for Children with Special Needs in Taichung City". There were 200 copies sent out, 173 questionnaires were returned and analyzed. The data was analyzed by descriptive statistics, one-way ANOVA, and Pearson product-moment correlation. The results of this study were as follows: (1) Most parents had good understanding of preschool transition services, among which "The importance of parent participation in preschool transition services" scored the highest. (2) Most parents had good participation in preschool transition services, among which "Participation in school aspect" and "Participation in family aspect" scored the highest. (3) Parents from different residential regions, education levels, and household income can significantly affect parent cognition and participation of the preschool transition services. (4) Parent cognition of preschool transition services can predict parent participation in preschool transition services. (5) The main difficulty for parents was lack of enough ability and skills to teach their children; the main assistance needed for parents was that the teachers really accepted their children. Based on the research results, recommendations were made in terms of administration, schools, and parents.
