輟學少年之家庭與社會學習因素的比較分析

A Comparative Study on Family and Social Learning Factors Affecting Dropout Students

摘要


台灣地區近年來的輟學問題,即使在統計資料上呈現出緩和的趨勢,實際發生的許多少年犯罪案件,其加害人或被害人,均係輟學生身分,或曾有輟學之經驗,在各狀況匯聚之下,輟學問題予人的主觀意念;輟學問題似乎有愈益嚴重的趨勢。研究輟學問題,找出輟學之成因,實屬必要。研究指出,輟學問題除造成教育資源浪費外,更使輟學者發生遊蕩、冶遊等不良、虞犯,甚至犯罪之行為,影響社會治安至鉅。有研究指出,少年犯罪問題與輟學問題並不相同;有些研究則認為少年先有犯罪行為之後才發生輟學;有些則認為先有輟學之後才發生少年犯罪行為;也有些研究指出,少年犯罪與輟學行為互為因果,很難釐清發生順序之先後。更重要的是,到底輟學成因為何?本研究即以此為研究重點,並順便釐清輟學與犯罪之間的關係。希冀利用研究結果,提供此防治輟學措施之參考。本研究係以問卷調查方式,以隨機叢集抽樣方法抽取在台灣地區各國民中學就讀,以及因犯案而在各矯正機關收容之少年,共計1,091人為研究對象。研究結果指出,少年輟學行為呈現「兩極化」現象,似乎有「不輟則己,一輟就輟到底」之現象。研究也發現,輟學與其他犯罪(非行)間存有顯著之關係,家庭結構因素,對於少年輟學行為之影響,大於家庭動力因素;值得注意的是「不良品友儕交往」是影響少年輟學最主要之因素;另外證實少年輟學行為與少年犯罪成因類似,亦係由多元因素所共同促成者。最後,基於研究發現,分別就少年輟學問題提出實務操作上與後續研究兩方面的建議,希冀能對於輟學防治問題有所助益。

Dropout problem of juvenile is getting worse recent years in Taiwan. Either offenders or victims in many criminal cases reported by police are truants/dropouts. Do juvenile delinquency cause dropout or dropout cause delinquency? Empirical studies on causal explanation of this field found that the relationships between them had three aspects: simple correlated, concomitant variational, and interactional. The answer of the real causes and the most effective preventive strategies of the problem is the main core of this research.Sampling randomly from high schools and juvenile penitentiary in Taiwan, I got 1,091 teenagers on this research to be surveyed with structural questionnaire. Strong significant correlation between dropout and delinquency (misdemeanor especially) was found. The effect of structural familial factors to dropout is stronger than functional ones; and the most important of all findings, the key factor causing juvenile dropout is the association to inadequate peers who commit crime, play truant, and other negative deeds; will be discussed in this theme.According to these findings, the strategies to strengthen the function of general and broken or single family, and to give juvenile' hands the right way to associate positive peers, etc., are going to be suggested in the final session. The writer of this paper hope those approach will resolve some extent of dropout in Taiwan.
