This paper intends to explore the possible causes of youth victim in Taiwan. The population studied are juveniles who are between 12 and 18 years old. A proportionate random sampling is utilized and a total of 2,003 samples are collected. This research conclude that chances of being a victim are related to the role for a juvenile. Juveniles within the social structure and their family have impact on one's chance of being a victim. Moreover, this research also support Hidelang's theory of routine activity theory, we found that the chance of becoming a victim is a response of one's life style.
