In this paper, a novel optical vibration measurement method named as amplitude fluctuation electronic speckle pattern interferometry (ESPI) is proposed. Associated theory and experimental setup were also introduced. Besides, an edge-cracked composite plate was used as an example to demonstrate the vibration displacements at different resonant frequencies.
