Measurements and Analysis of Pipe Flow Noise for the Quick Burner

並列摘要

The article presents some significant experimental data about the pipe flow noise of the quick burner. The pipe flow noise is a type of sound, which is a longitudinal wave and directly propagates by way of the flow with variable density, therefore the laminar flow is much quieter than the turbulent flow. The investigations firstly focus on the pipe flow noise and aim to convert the pipe flow from turbulent to laminar using the flow filter technique. Experiments made filters with different aperture diameters and length in order to build the laminar pipe flow. The measured and discussed conditions are filter aperture diameter and length. A worthy results show that the filter aperture diameter in smaller than 2mm becomes better noise reduction.
