摘要
近二十多年在台灣街頭經常會看到身著紫紅色袈裟，腳著夾腳拖的藏族喇嘛，而且還經常有本地女性陪同充當翻譯，給人直覺上似乎不夠端莊，而且也是近年來把喇嘛教稱為「藏傳佛教」，不但創造了此一名詞，連帶的也把原來流傳已久的「北傳佛教」改稱為「漢傳佛教」，實有加以釐清之必要。

In the last twenty years, we often see on the streets of Taiwan Tibetan lamas wearing crimson cassocks and flip-flops. They are usually kept company by local female interpreters and give an impression of being immodest. Besides, in recent years Lamaism was renamed ＂Tibetan Buddhism (Buddhism Spread in Tibet).＂ Not only the latter was created, but formerly called North-Spread Buddhism(Buddhism Spread in the North) was also renamed Han Buddhism(Buddhism Spread in Han-China). Some clarification is certainly necessary on this issue.
