In 2006, the Taiwan ruling Democratic Progressive Party drafted a constitutional amendment for promoting the second phase of Constitutional reengineering. At the same time the Democratic Progressive Party drafted a special chapter for expressing their highest respect for Taiwan history and indigenous people. Since there are many innovative constitutional concepts and ideas in the constitutional amending's special chapter regarding indigenous people, the content and feasibility of the special chapter are doubted generally. This article looks forward to examine all the provisions and clarify all the issues.
