幼兒教師的困擾問題及其因應方式之研究

摘要

本研究旨在探討幼兒教師在教學情境中遭遇哪些較感困擾的問題、該些問題困擾他們的原因，以及他們如何因應及調適該些困擾問題。研究方法兼採量化的問卷調查法及質化的半結構式訪談法。研究結果顯示，幼兒教師最常感到的困擾問題依序是「工作壓力和薪水不成比例」、「家長把教育子女的責任推給教師」、「覺得幼教人員的社會地位太低，想轉行卻又困難重重」、「家長不斷要求教讀寫算，和教師的理念不同」，以及「不知道如何輔導屢次犯規的小孩」。至於令他們感到困擾的原因分別是：「園所工作壓力繁重、工作時間過長，又加上薪水過低，以及沒有勞基法和退休金的保障」、「家長認為其已繳了學費，就將其該盡的一些義務與責任丟給老師承擔，並對教師頤指氣使」、「本身雖然認同幼教是相當專業的一項工作，但因為得不到一般社會大眾的尊重與肯定而感到困擾」、「家長常會提出提早教孩子讀寫算的要求，而這一要求又與幼兒教師的理念不合」，以及「一些較特殊的幼兒不斷滋事，且經由輔導亦不見成效」，而他們在面對上述五大困擾問題時，其因應的方式可歸納成四種：尋求他人協助、與現實妥協、自己嘗試解決問題以及自我心理建設與調適。

The purpose of this study is to investigate the problems and their reasons perceived by preschool teachers, and how they deal with these problems. Both qualitative and quantitative research methods were used for this study. Data were collected by questionnaire and semi-structure interview. Analysis of data indicated the problems most often bother them as following: (a) high work stress, low salary, (b) parents shift off their responsibilities of educate children to preschool teachers, (c) low social status, (d) different educational notions with parents, and (e) difficult to guide the children’s behavior problems. Four coping strategies the preschool teachers adopted when experiencing problematic situations were (a) asking for helps, (b) compromising, (c) attempting to solve problems, and (d) self-accommodation.
