This paper addresses the experiences and the management mechanisms of relieving disaster in the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation region by suggesting disaster relief logistics strategies for Taiwan. An integrated management mechanism based on fourth party logistics is proposed. The proposed method suggests government should set up a logistics center, prepare a material distribution plan, and integrate non-profit organizations to insure consistency in logistic administration and command. Label set ting method is used to determine the shortest path for material distribution plans and a disaster relief logistics center.
