Staging Titus Andronicus
搬演《血海殲仇記》
摘要
重新搬演莎士比亞《血海殲仇記》（或譯《泰特斯‧安莊尼克斯》）的持續努力，並未讓多數戲迷接受此劇。要能夠成為劇場的固定劇碼，除非此劇能依其本質被觀賞：這是莎翁少年時期青澀作品，乃出於興趣而成，因為從中吾人可以瞥見劇作家的學徒身分。

Repeated efforts to revive Shakespeare's Titus Andronicus have not led to its acceptance by the great majority of theatergoers. Its integration into the Shakespeare repertory will not occur until the play is seen for what it is: a juvenile work of Shakespeare, of interest because of the glimpse it affords us of the playwright's apprenticeship.
