The study aims to explore the reason why the jumping ability of players has stagnated in order to put forward a method to improve it. Through the collected literature and the daily research in the related topics, we get the results as follows: the stagnation in jumping ability results from overweight, a lack of strength in the muscle power of legs, wrong jumping actions. We suggest using such weight-training equipment as barbells and doing a variety of squat jumps to improve the muscle power of legs to improve players' jumping ability.
