Objective: To introduce the Australian waters security -related information, and make comparison with Taiwan's lifesaving system. Methods: To understanding the waters security information of Australia and Taiwan by content analysis. Result: Firstly, this study made a summary introduction of water safety competent authority of Australia: Australian Sports Commission (ASC) and Australian Water Safety Council (AWSC), the main associations: The Royal Life Saving Society Australia, (RLSS) and Surf Life Saving Australia (SLSA). This study introduced theirs water security policies, laws and measures. Finally, compared the water security policies with Australian and Taiwan, and concluded with recommendations.
