台灣體適能從業者專業知識之調查

A Survey of Specialized Knowledge of Taiwan Physical Fitness Jobholder

摘要


從事運動和體適能領域的從業人員數目漸增,品質的控制、合法性及職業道德的問題逐漸浮起。運動和健康專家最重視的是體適能從業人員專業知識的充實。台灣消費者需要體適能專業者,有足夠的知識能迎合他們特殊健康照護的需要。 本研究隨機抽樣全國61名從業人員參與本研究,這些受測者包括:重量訓練訓練員和指導者、適能教師、運動領導人員等。這些受測者分別服務於大學院校的體適能中心、私人的健康俱樂部、社區體適能中心、全人健康機構。所有受測者接受-簡單的調查工具。調查的第一頁包括背景資料(教育、證照、職稱、薪資水準等)。調查的第二面,列有運動生理學、運動處方、運動營養等三種領域的問題,每個領域有五個問題,合計有15個問題。問題回答的方式計有「是」、「非」等兩種方式。 本研究發現受測者在運動生理學和運動營養的專業知識較欠缺,至於運動處方方面受測者的成績尚可。研究者建議:政府機關有關部門對業者的輔導,宜加強運動生理學和運動營養的專業知識。

With the increased number of individual employment in the exercise and fitness field, questions of quality control, legal liability, and ethics arises. A major concern of exercise and wellness experts is the preparation of fitness professionals. Taiwan consumers are increasingly demanding that fitness jobholder have the knowledge necessary to meet their specific health care needs. Sixty one subjects take part in the study. This included exercise instructors, personal trainers, aerobics instructors, weight room supervisors, and wellness coordinators. These subjects are solicited at university or college fitness centers, private health clubs, corporate wellness facilities, and community fitness centers. All subjects will complet a brisf survey. One side contained background information on the respondent (education, certifications, job title, salary level, etc.). The other side of the survey contained five questions each in the areas of exercise physiology, exercise program design, and exercise nutrition, for a total 15 questions. The questions will be answered in a yes/no format. This research discovery comparatively is short of measuring in exercise physiology and exercise nutrition specialized knowledge, as for exercise program design aspect measuring result still permissible. Researcher suggestion that, Governmental agency department concerned to industry counselling, suitably strengthens exercise physiology and exercise nutrition specialized knowledge.
