基因功能表現差異對於個人飲食及運動介入的影響

Effect of Genetic Variants on Personal Dietary and Exercise Intervention

摘要


在經濟蓬勃發展的富裕社會中,人類健康的最大威脅就是慢性疾病。例如癌症、心血管、腦血管疾病及肥胖與糖尿病代謝性疾病等,流行病學專家調查證實;飲食與生活習慣,脂肪與精緻純化醣類攝取量過高、新鮮蔬菜水果攝取量嚴重不足、抽煙、喝酒、能量攝取過高加上缺乏運動造成肥胖等慢性疾病高風險因子有關。且這些因子受基因調控與表現影響。基因調控隨著每一條染色體上的DNA編碼,資訊已被科學家陸續解碼並發展出檢測和治病的方法,用做預防、診斷、改善、甚至治癒疾病,同時也為「個人化醫學」鋪路。個人化醫學依據的概念,是每個人對食物、藥物、陽光、運動、過敏原或其他刺激的不同反應,藉由遺傳差異來解釋。本篇主要探討如何應用基因表現理論瞭解營養,運動與健康的關連性。

In the wealthy community, the biggest threat to human health is chronic disease such as cancer, cardiovascular disease, brain vascular disease, obesity, diabetes mellitus, and metabolic syndrome etc. Epidemiologist proved that dietary, lifestyle, excess adipose and purified carbohydrate overtaking, deficiency of vegetables and fruit, smoking, drinking, energy overload, lacking exercise and obesity are high relative risk factors of chronic disease. And these factors are affected by genetic control and gene expression. With the DNA decoding, the scientist used this information to develop examining method and therapy to predict, diagnose, improve and even cure disease. Furthermore, it helps the development of <||>Personal Medicine<||>. The concept of personal medicine is explained the different response to food, drug, sunlight, exercise, allergen and other stimulation by genetic variants. This article explores how to interpret the relation of nutrition, exercise and health with gene expression theory.
