論《春秋》筆法與大義－以《左傳》經解為據

摘要

《春秋》一書有「文」，指記述的文辭；有「事」，指記述的內容；有「義」，指記事的旨趣，是《春秋》的深層內涵。對《春秋》而言，此三者的關係為「義」見之於「事」，而「事」載之於「文」；換言之，《春秋》一書的筆法與所載之「事」的始末，為理解《春秋》大義的關鍵。而在《春秋》三傳中，《左傳》尤以「敘事」見長；有鑑於此，本文嘗試運用《左傳》敘事詳贍的特點，對《春秋》筆法進行詮釋，並循著「即事以顯義」的方式，期能客觀合理的呈現《春秋》的書寫方法與其寓於史事中的大義。

Chun Qiu contains three types of meaning: the ”Wun,” representing vocabulary, the ”Shih,” referring the contents; and the ”Yi,” meaning the purpose. That is, ”Yi” is for ”Shih” and ”Shih” is for ”Wun.” In other words, they key to understand the meaning of Chun Qui was to understand its wording (writing) technique and whole description of ”Shih.” Zhozhuan, one of the three books in Chun Qui, was skilled in its description. Therefore, the current study tried to apply the descriptive technique in Zbuozhuan to interpret Chun Qiu. It was hoped to use objective point of view to understand its way of writing and the meaning of the historical events.
