摘要
二次大戰之後，各國政府爲有效積極發展科技發展，紛紛成立科學技術中心。希望透過科學技術中心的資訊服務，帶動各項科學技術與工程的發展。本研究主要利用比較研究院法，比較加拿大科學技術中心與我國科學技術資料中心行政組織、館藏、資料庫與資訊服務的異同。透過比較研究的成果，可供未來雙方發展互動的參考。

After World War II, some countries such as USA, Canada, Japan, South Korea, Republic of China, etc., had established a sci-tech information service center to promote its sci-tech research and development. Through the information services provided by the sci-tech information center these countries take great advancements in sci-tech researches and engineering developments. By using comparative method, this research is to compare Canada Institute for Scientific and Technical Information (CISTI) with Science and Technology Information Center (STIC) of Republic of China on organization, holdings, databases, and information services.
