The purpose of this study is to review and plan the implementation of supervision and management policies such as archival management, functional inspection or maintenance management for all soil and water conservation facilities in Taiwan. As the soil and water conservation plan for the completion of the annual declaration in Taiwan continues to accumulate, the standards examined by local governments are inconsistent, resulting in the failure to maintain an established norm and format to manage. The maintenance conditions of various local facilities are also different, and it is impossible to systematically manage the maintenance of various soil and water conservation facilities. Therefore, this study has developed a unified standard for conducting on-site investigations and performance evaluation method, implementing the applicable revision workflow and the applicable implementation work chart for subsequent ruling reference standards, and is expected to facilitate future policy recommendations.
