This study uncovered 33 vocational technology oriented college freshmen's experential learning journeys in the Midwestern area of Taiwan. The methodology for this study was qualitative drawing on the guidelines of interpretivism through the lens of experiential learning, theory of chaos and complexity, and transformative learning. Data included the researcher's in class observation field notes and participants' reflective papers. Findings show that these students' learning experiences at the vocational college echo scholars' notions that change leads to chaos and also various chances for change or perspective transformation. Change and chaos not only help these students recognize different aspects of themselves and their surrondings, but also enhance their personal and academic growth.
