Optimization of New Pharmacist Education and Training Course Evaluation through a Quality Control Technique

摘要


目的:優化新進藥師教學訓練考評管理,期能培育全方位醫療專業人員,提升醫療品質及確保病人安全之目標。材料與方法:運用品管手法PDCA的概念進行新進藥師教育訓練管理的優化,由問卷進行現況分析,進而找出為何"訓練與考評無法如期完成"之主要因,並擬定對策與設定目標,以學員每人每月平均未完成考評數下降50 %為初期目標。結果:人力環境改善,考評線上化後,每人每月平均未完成數由2.08件降低至0.65件,降低68.75 %,優於初期設定降低50 %之目標,目標達成率129 %。結論:人才培育是每個部門單位必要的投資,教育訓練為不可或缺的一環,持續優化教與學的環境,將有助於人才留任。

Objective: To nurture talented healthcare professionals, new pharmacist education and training course evaluation should be optimized. Furthermore, such optimization would improve medical quality and ensure patient safety. Methods: The quality assurance concept of plan-do-check-act (PDCA) was applied to optimize new pharmacist education and training course evaluation. A questionnaire was used to analyze the current status of evaluation. Through this questionnaire, we attempted to identify the main causes of why "the training course of new pharmacists couldn't be completed on time" and proposed countermeasures, set goals, and achieved them. The monthly average number of uncompleted assessments per person decreased by 50 %, which was the initial goal. Results: After improving manpower and environment as well as setting up some assessments online, the monthly average number of incomplete assessments decreased by 68.75 % (from 2.08 to 0.65), which surpassed the initial goal of 50 % reduction. The goal achievement rate was 129 %. Conclusion: Education and training are integral for talent cultivation, which is a necessary investment for each department. Continuously optimizing the teaching and learning environment contributes to the retention of talent.
