影響精障者職業訓練後其就業職種與職業訓練職種一致性之因素探討

Factors Influence Consistency between Types of Chronic Outpatients' Jobs and Previous Vocational Training in a Psychiatric Center

摘要


本研究旨在探討影響職業訓練後其就業職種與職業訓練職種一致性之因素,分成四個面向,分別爲人口學(性別、婚姻、年齡、教育程度)、醫療(疾病診斷、發病年齡、發病年)、功能(日常生活、手部靈巧度、注意力)、職訓(職訓受訓天數、就業輔導)。研究採回溯追蹤設計;研究對象爲民國93至96年全程參與某精神專科醫院職業訓練之出院慢性精障者共58位,研究資料以卡方檢定(chi-square test)及邏輯斯複迴歸(multiple logistic regression)分析。研究結果發現12個自變項中影響就業職種一致性之主要因素爲職業訓練後有否給予輔導;即給予輔導者較未給予輔導者,其就業職種一致性較高。故本文建議職業訓練後給予精障者就業輔導是必要的,以提高其就業職種與職訓職種之一致性。

The purpose of the study was to investigate the factors would influence the consistency between types of chronic outpatients' Jobs and previous vocational training in a psychiatric center. Factors were divided into four constructs, which were demography (ex. sex, marriage, age, and education degree), medical information (ex. medical diagnosis, age of onset, year of onset), functional level (ex. levels of daily living function, hand dexterity, and attention), vocational training (training days, if employment services offered). This retrospective study enrolled 58 chronic psychiatric outpatients, who completed their vocational trainings in a psychiatric hospital during the period of 2004 to 2007. The methods of the chi-square test and multiple logistic regression were utilized to analyze the data. The finding of this study showed that only was the variable ‘if employment services offered' predicting the consistency between types of jobs and previous vocational training; namely the persons who were offered employment service tended to have higher chances to have same job types as their previous vocational training types. This finding implied that employment services may be important in helping chronic outpatients finding jobs that utilize their vocational skills acquired from previous vocational training.
