應用3D運算技術提升氣象科學教學成效之研究

A Study of Teaching Effects of Meteorology Teaching Materials with 3D Technology

摘要


本研究將結合虛擬實境(Virtual Reality, VR)技術,應用於自然科學教育學習上,提供三維立體動畫的解析教材,並以自然科學領域中的氣象課程為例,選擇高中地球科學教材的內容,建置於Web為基礎之環境中,如此可改進傳統技術無法提供的3D解析課程教材,讓學生對於較不易理解的抽象立體空間問題,透過電腦輔助教學系統的學習,有效提升教學學習成效。 氣象教材涵蓋廣泛,本研究採用擇優分析方法,選定適合VR製作的氣象單元;VR製作流程採用腳本法,建構教學網站整合文字與互動VR教材,教學網完成後,使用準實驗研究法(Quasi-experiments)進行教學成效之評量。運用VR的即時描繪功能,可充分花揮VR之沉浸(Immersion)、巡行(Navigation)、操控(Manipulation)等特性,進而達成數位學習、悅趣學習、互動學習、創新學習目標;而後更可遵循本研究的方法,將自然科學領域中的其他課程單元,建置在互動式的教學網站上,提供師生更好的教學教材,讓學生充分利用提升學習成效,以達到學習的目標。

This research is mainly to integrate virtual reality technology on education and learning in nature science. 3D meteorology animation technology will be involved into teaching materials as well. All teaching materials will be designed as web-based fundamental environment on meteorology course of natural science in geosciences at high school level. These teaching materials with 3D meteorology animation technology will help students to understand those three-dimensional composition and abstract issues. They will also improve effects of computer-assisted instruction in teaching and learning. The meteorology teaching material covers extensively. We will use the trade studies to pick up suitable units for virtual reality making. Followed by scenario planning, we will build up a web-based teaching website with interactive contents of text, images and virtual reality. Then, we will evaluate the teaching effects by quasi-experiments. The function of online real-time rendering in virtual reality will provide VR immersion, navigation and manipulation. This function highly improves the quality of digital, game-based, interactive and creative learning. This model will be applied to other nature science courses and units to enhance teaching effects as well.
