平面設計師之完稿知識及能力對合版印刷印損之影響探討

摘要

本研究旨在探討合版印刷雖然能順應時代成為現今印刷主流，但其印損率卻高於其他印刷業者，以致造成企業經濟損失。又合版印刷限制很多，其中沒有完稿這項服務，所以在完稿限制下規定繁雜，相對於平面設計師之完稿知識及能力就愈顯重要，為探究以上原因，本研究將探討平面設計師之完稿知識及能力是否對合版印刷之印損造成影響。並透過深度訪談及配合訪談問卷以大台北地區三家規模及業務龐大之合版印刷廠中之印前部門檔案處理資深主管作為本研究深度訪談對象，來獲取相關資料與數據，以便進行研究目的探討。訪談資料整理與分析後發現確實造成合版印刷印損的最大原因有90%皆來自於平面設計師完稿有誤所致，而平面設計師應注意的完稿項目共計25項，其中以「軟體製稿時顏色四色總值超過200%以上，造成背印」這個項目造成印損發生機率最高。依照深度訪談之後分析結果得知，平面設計師之完稿知識及能力對於合版印刷印損之機率有絕對的影響。

This study aimed to investigate the Combined/United Printing. The printing damage/loss rate is higher than the other printing industry although it is able to adapt to the times to become the mainstream in today's printing industry, it results in economic losses to the businesses. And there are lots of restrictions in the combined printing, among which there is no such service of finalization. Therefore, the provisions for the constraints of finalization are complicated, the graphic designer's capability and knowledge of finalization are relatively more and more important. To search the above reasons, this study will explore whether the graphic designer's knowledge of finalization and capability will impact the printing loss of the combined printing. Through the depth interviews and questionnaires with interviews, we visited the senior directors of file processing of the prepress department at the three large scale business printing companies in Taipei metropolitan region to obtain the relevant information and data for the purpose of this study. After the collation and analysis of the interview data, we found that the 90% of the main causes for the printing loss in the combined printing are from the finalization of an error caused by graphic designer, and the graphic designer should pay attention to the finalization of a project a total 25, among them, the ”manuscript by soft system, the total four color valued at more than 200% resulting in back print”, this project makes the highest incidence of causing the damage/loss of printing. Accordance with the analysis after the depth interviews, the results show that the graphic designer's capability and knowledge of finalization have the absolute influence on the incidence of the printing damage in the combined printing.
