電子書易讀接受模式

A Study of E-Book Reading Acceptance Model

摘要


電子書與數位出版是未來知識保存與傳播的重要媒介之一,數位閱讀的媒介與過程和傳統書籍有所異同之處,其中「易讀性」是評估內容編排設計最為重要的項目,2010年是台灣的電子書元年,伴隨硬體、軟體、內容與習慣的成熟,易讀性高的電子書是未來數位閱讀的成功之鑰,本研究計畫透過「文獻探討」與「電子書版面易讀性因素評估問卷調查」以建立完整的電子書易讀性評估工具並評估國內最新推出的Green Book電子書,另經由研究建構「電子書易讀接受模式(Readability Acceptance Model, RAM)」,以發展周詳的電子書易讀性評量工具。根據研究結果分析,計算出影響大眾對於電子書的使用意願。最主要的因子為閱讀意願,由此可見,電子書在設計上其易讀性更為重要。

E-book is one of most developing knowledge preservation and distribution media. The way people read digital media is more or less different with traditional printed books. Readability has been acknowledged as the most important factor when evaluating page layout design. Year 2010 is the new epoch of e-book for Taiwan due to the development of hardware, software, digital content, and reading habit. One of key factors for a successful e-book is the readability. This study intends to adopt 'literature review' and 'e-book usability survey' to develop an e-book readability evaluation tool to evaluate the latest e-book, the Green Book. Moreover, a 'Readability Acceptance Model, RAM' was constructed as a very thorough method for readability evaluation.
