擬高動態範圍成像技術在影像增強和藝術表現上的應用

Application of HDR-like Imaging Methods on Both Image Enhancement and Artistic Expression

摘要


高動態影像是以正確的表達真實世界人眼所看到的景象為主要目的,若適當的運用擬高動態範圍成像技術,即使非高動態範圍的單張影像也能經由優化的CLAHE區域性影像增強演算法,同時將影像黑暗部分與明亮部分的資訊完整表現出來,達到高動態影像的效果。更者,藉由不同的強化效果中,除了能夠將不同的照片處理達到高動態影像表現的目的之外,也能將照片的色調提升到明顯獨特的誇示效果,或是將黑暗部分的細節表現得比明亮部分更明顯,突顯其亮暗部的強烈對比差,獲得超出原本照片所要表現以外的獨特美感或藝術感,得到更好更特殊的優化表現的影像圖片。

The objective of this work was to implement various HDR-like methods of CLAHE (Contrast Limited Adaptive Histogram Equalization) for enhancing the local contrast of images of interest. These developed methods can not only enhance details of highlight and shadow parts of originally non-HDR image, but also achieve artistic rendition and expression. Overall, with optimal choice of parameters' combination used in every HDRlike module, it rendered more colorful results and image details. Moreover, the produced image could also give the unique aesthetic feeling andexpression. The results obtained were showy and distinctive.
